BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Things are 'sizzling' at K.C. Steakhouse.
Cassie Bittle and her staff are tackling the latest challenges by continuing to offer their classic items in the new K.C. Stockyard, their solution to the governor's order.
Despite the heat, Bittle said customers have been passing up on the lighter items and focusing on their favorites.
"With the swamp coolers going and the misters on, it's actually really nice out there at night," Bittle said. "The men want big things, the women want steak and lobster."
While the name on the front still says K.C. Steakhouse, Bittle is hoping to possibly incorporate the 'Stockyard' into part of her future.
