BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Condors President Matthew Riley made his big debut at last week's Kern County Public Health press briefing when he announced the new incentives offered by the Condors and Mechanics Bank Arena to get tested.

The Bakersfield Condors and Mechanics Bank Arena are teaming up to offer free tickets in order to promote COVID-19 testing in Kern County.

Mechanics Bank Arena and the Bakersfield Condors have partnered with the County of Kern to offer county residents a chance to win two tickets to every Arena event during 2021 by voluntarily getting tested for the coronavirus from now until Nov. 15.
Riley joined 23ABC Thursday morning to discuss why they felt the need to make getting tested for COVID-19 more appealing to the public.
