ARVIN, Calif. — Arvin Mayor Jose Gurrola wants to be proactive when it comes to the community's policing practices. The city council is going to be evaluating current practices in the wake of national protests, that included a small gathering in the farming community. He joined 23ABC LIVE to talk about that and a new directive for local businesses as the number of coronavirus cases have still not declined.

The Arvin City Council is taking a pro-active approach to policing procedures in their small farming community and a new ordinance requiring businesses to post signs asking customers to wear masks.
