Study: More women self-employed now

Posted

(KERO) — More American women are self-employed now than before the pandemic. That's what a new analysis from the Center for Economic and Policy Research found.

Analysts say the reasons for this vary but they believe the ongoing childcare crisis has made it difficult for women to maintain conventional jobs.

They also believe women with less education have a harder time finding jobs that allow for remote work.
