BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — This week on Simply Sweet Allison, we head over to an ice cream spot in downtown Bakersfield that has been in town for more than 30 years! Rosemary’s Family Creamery has been “Keeping Bakersfield Sweet Since 1984!”
Manager Patrick Brandon shows Allison how to make a Blondie Sundae.
A Blondie is very similar to a brownie, sweet and buttery but you don’t add any cocoa powder, hence keeping the batter a blonde color.
The Blondie is placed on the bottom of the sundae dish. Next, creamy butter pecan ice cream is added and then topped with fresh whipped cream, homemade caramel sauce and a cherry!
This is a great way to beat the heat this summer!
