BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On this week’s Simply Sweet we take you to a café in the Bakersfield auto mall called By The Way Café.
They are serving up homemade breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as roasting their own coffee.
Sweet treats are a specialty as well. Not only can you pick up a paleta, but also a churro doughnut ice cream sandwich! This is the perfect combination of a warm doughnut, and cool ice cream. The crunch from the churro and sweetness from the cinnamon sugar makes this a delectable dessert.
You can only find this over-the-top ice cream sandwich at By The Way Café. You can find them at 5700 Gasoline Alley Drive, inside the Toyota Service Center.
