When it comes to monitoring your teenagers' screen-time, experts say the quality of content is more important than the number of hours they spend online. That's from a report by Common Sense Media released Wednesday.
Quality of content maybe even more important during the pandemic because teens have limited access to other avenues of interaction and learning.
According to one of the report's authors, digital media should serve as a "social safety net." He said it should be used for adolescents to interact with friends and family members they can't see in person.
He added that parents should still balance screen time with other activities.
