BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Vaccination rates in Kern County are lower than the state average, according to the Kindergarten Immunization Assessment.
For the 2017-2018 school year, 94.8 percent of Kern County kindergartners had received two doses of MMR. The state average is 96.9 percent.
