BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — This weekend the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and no matter who you're rooting for, you'll need something to munch on. On this Foodie Friday, here's a simple recipe made three ways, so you can bring a little variety to the usual chips and dip.
Recipe:
Bake Queso and green enchilada sauce for 3-4 hours in a slow cooker, we used the "keep warm" setting.
First dish:
Season ground meat (beef/turkey) with salt and pepper. Fry ground meat in a pan.
Mix meat with diced tomatoes.
Second dish:
Chop cooked bacon, green onions, and carrots.
Mix.
Third dish:
Mix corn and black beans.
Add queso to all three dishes.
Pair with tortilla chips, chicharrones, or Fritos and enjoy!
