Some schools throughout Kern County will be allowed to reopen for in-person learning on Wednesday. This after Kern County was moved into the red tier of the state's reopening system.
The Panama-Buena Vista Union School District, Bakersfield Christian, and Garces High School announced they're bringing students into the classroom starting Wednesday.
Bakersfield Christian and Garces will allow all students to return while Panama-Buena Vista will first bring back students with special needs as part of its phase system.
