Rosedale Union School District to move forward with phased reopening plan

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Rosedale Union School District is moving forward with its phased reopening plan, bringing students back to campus for an a.m./p.m. hybrid model.

Students will be brought back to school based on grade level. Students will be placed in smaller class cohorts and attend part of the day in either the morning or the afternoon sessions 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) or students may remain in distance learning. Wednesdays with the exceptions of Nov. 18 and Dec. 16 will be distance learning days for all students.

The return schedule is as follows:

  • Oct. 29: TK/K
  • Nov. 5: 1st Grade
  • Nov. 9: 2nd Grade
  • Nov. 12: 3rd Grade
  • Nov. 16: 4th Grade
  • Nov. 30: 5th and 7th Grades
  • Dec. 3: 6th and 8th Grades
