BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The results from the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress State summative assessments have officially been released for every school district in the state.
California State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tony Thurmond, announced the statewide results which highlights English language arts/literacy and mathematics in each school district.
Thurmond also expressed his concern that improvement is less consistent across the score range in grades 7, 8, and 11. He added that a persistent percentage of minority students were not meeting standards and in several grades, showing declining scores from last year.
All school districts have had access to their own results since May, according to officials. You can click here to find progress reports for your school district.
