BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — A local educator is being honored for his work in response to the pandemic's impact in the classroom.
Jason Hodgson the director of professional development at the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District was one of eleven educators across the country who received recognition from education week's annual "Leaders to Learn From" special report.
The 11 awardees were chosen from nearly 300 nominees throughout the country.
Hodgson will get the opportunity to present his work this year at a three-day virtual conference that takes place in May.
