BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — After taking into consideration local and state health guidelines the Panama-Buena Vista Union School district Board of Trustees voted to begin the 2020-2021 school year with an online distance learning program.
The board also pushed back the start of the school year from Aug. 12 to Aug. 24 to give the district more time to prepare.
They are the latest school district to make a decision on how to return to school following the governor's latest orders.
