BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Parents and members of the community are invited to attend the Kern High School District's sixth community forum.
The Community Forum is an opportunity for parents, students, teachers and community members to voice their opinions, ask questions or provide comments on a variety of education subjects, including student discipline and the climate on school campuses.

"We are appreciative of the continuous opportunity to share information with members of the Bakersfield community about the programs and services that support our students academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally," said Dr. Brenda Lewis, KHSD Associate Superintendent of Instruction, in a statement.
The forum will take place in DeMello Hall at West High School on New Stine Rd in Bakersfield. It's happening on Jan. 30 at 7 p.m.
