The Kern County High School District will be holding a meeting on Wednesday. Among the items the Board of Supervisors will discuss will be graduation ceremonies.
During the meeting, Superintendent Bryon Schaefer will provide a report to be considered for approval concerning possible 2019-2020 Kern High School graduation ceremonies. The board had previously discussed the idea of virtual graduations instead of a physical ceremony in light of social distancing orders.
Health and school officials closed all Kern County schools on March 18th to fight against the spread of COVID-19, moving to remote learning.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20th at 9:30 a.m.
