BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Students from Highland High in Bakersfield are the 2019 National Future Farmers of America Hall of States Champions!
According to the school's Facebook Page, on Thursday, FFA members Emily Gonzales, Brianna Hughes, Austin Helms, and Hannah Ballard snagged first place in the competition.
The national convention took place in Indianapolis this week where FFA members from all over the country celebrated their accomplishments and find inspiration for their careers in agriculture.
