A group of more than 300 college admissions deans is hoping to remove some of the stress for students submitting applications.
The statement titled "What We Care About in This Time of Crisis" lets students know what they're not placing as much focus on in their decision. Things like extracurricular activities and changes in academics during the outbreak.
Instead, deans say they'd be more interested in hearing about how students helped family members or their community during the crisis.
