As states across the country ease out of the coronavirus restrictions it still leaves many educators out of their schools until the fall. And the state's superintendent wants to ease frustrations for teachers with a virtual support circle.
The California Department of Education and State Superintendent Tony Thurmond will be hosting an online panel of education experts to reach out and hear directly from frontline educators at schools across the state.
The Department of Educations says they understand that educators are feeling overwhelmed during this time of distance learning.
The virtual event will be an opportunity for teachers to share experiences and resources. The panel can be watched on Facebook Live on the state's Department of Education Facebook page.
The event is Thursday starting at 4 p.m. and will run until 5:30 p.m.
