This month we are kicking off our donation drive for the inaugural 23ABC Bakersfield Baby Shower on November 21st!
23ABC has partnered up with three local agencies who help take care of the most vulnerable babies and children of Kern County. The Bakersfield Pregnancy Center, The Jamison Children's Center and the Mission at Kern County are in need of supplies, and we need your help to fill their shelves.
The organizations are accepting new and gently used donations of the following for babies and infants:
- Bibs
- Crib Size Blankets
- Baby Booties
- Baby Bottles
- Infant Diapers
- Baby Formula
- Gloves
- Gowns
- Infant Hats/Beanies
- Baby Lotion
- Maternity Clothing
- Onesies
- Infant Pajamas
- Receiving Blankets
- Seasonal Infant Clothing (Up to 12 Months)
- Baby Shampoo
- Baby Socks
- Teethers
- Baby Towels
- Infant Toys
- Infant T-Shirts
- Baby Wash
- Baby Wipes
Due to strict regulations, the organizations may or may not be able to accept some cribs or car seats. Call the organizations to see if your item qualifies or if you have any questions about what can be donated:

Those donations can be dropped off at participating Express Pharmacy locations around Kern County through November 20th or at the 23ABC Studios.
Then on Thursday, November 21st join us at the 23ABC Studios located at 321 21st Street for the Bakersfield Baby Shower where we will collect items all day from 5 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided for anyone who donates.
