BAKERSFIELD, CA. — A fourth grade class at Stella Hills Elementary raised money for a week to donate to the Bakersfield Homeless Center.
The initiative is part of Red Nose Day, a national campaign to raise money to fight for child poverty.
The class did research on child poverty locally and chose where their money raised would go to.
They reached their goal of $350.
