BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Enjoy a night of jazz and soul with the Live Stream Vaccine: The Entertainment Cure, featuring local musicians Crimson Skye and J2 and the Bizzness.
Crimson Skye is a singer/songwriter from Bakersfield, CA with a sound that weaves in and out of genres, generating a soulful, psychedelic, and progressive experience.
Bassist, composer, arranger, Jay Jay Hicks (aka J2) began his musical journey at the age of 16. J2 possesses a sense of lyricism and melody gained from studying his bass heroes Stanley Clarke and Jaco Pastorius. In 2008, j2 took the opportunity to front his own band, The Bizzness, as a lead bassist, experimenting with Extended Range Basses and multi-sound effects.
