BPD and KCSO Search and Rescue are conducting a pre-planned search of an area in Hart Park in connection with the disappearance of a Bakersfield man.
According to BPD, the search is related to the disappearance of Micah Holsonbake. BPD says this search was pre-planned and coordinated with KCSO Search and Rescue. The search is based off of evidence found back in August. At this time, no new evidence has been found in the area.
BPD and KCSO Search and Rescue are planning to cover 5 to 6 miles of the river today. KCSO Search and Rescue has deployed boats, drones, people, and riders on horseback in order to search the area. However, they are not using divers in the area.
