BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Today marks "Tips for CHiPs" tenth year of raising funds for the California Association of Highway Patrolmen, Widows and Orphans' Trust Fund.
The annual event was held after the death of Officer Mark Ehly, and since the fundraiser began, over $233,000 have been raised.
The fundraiser is set to run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Outback Steakhouse, located at 5051 Stockdale Highway.
