Private donor agrees to match donations to the Buena Vista Museum up to $25,000

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Buena Vista Museum announced that a private donor has just offered to match donations to the museum up to $25,000.

The museum said that every donation they receive until March 31 will be met with matching donation. If the museum is able to receive $25,000 worth of donations from the public, the donor will match all those donations, equaling a total of $50,000.

"No donation is too small, it all adds up and helps us reach our goal of $50,000!" said Executive Director Koral Hancharick. "I thank you in Advance, for your help in reaching the full goal of this Matching Donation."

This news coming as the museum prepares to celebrate their 25 year anniversary.

All the funds donated bringing in more technology to help bring the museum alive and into the 21st century, the museum said.

" With your help, we hope to create and install six Touch Screen Kiosks," the museum said. "The kiosks will inform visitors about our displays via computer graphics and animations."
