BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Marine veteran Robin Silva and her three children experienced a Christmas miracle Monday.

After living homeless for over two weeks in a motel, several organizations came together to help give them a home for the holidays.

"I'm just so worried, about putting a roof over our head. I'm always working, like, three jobs and I'm still struggling. We never have furniture," said Silva.

The organizations that helped include the California's Veteran's Assistance Foundation, Kern County CityServe, Urners, Furniture City and The Mission at Kern County. Silva and her family also drew the attention of local leaders like Mayor Karen Goh, State Senator Shannon Grove and Congressman Kevin McCarthy, all of whom helped.

On top of receiving a home, Silva also received gifts and a Christmas tree.

Coming up on 23ABC News at 6 p.m., 23ABC's Austin Westfall sits down with Silva to share her story.
