The Houchin Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive this Friday. Staff from Optimal Hospice will also be helping at the blood drive to kick off the caring through giving blood donation campaign.
The blood drive starts at 9 a.m. at the blood bank on Bolthouse Drive.
The campaign will take place in church parking lots all across Bakersfield over a four week period that starts on May 29th and ends June 19th.
