SHAFTER, CALIF. — The Shafter Recreation & Park District is making sure local families have the chance to have some fun this Easter holiday with a Quarantine Egg Quest.
Officials will be handing out eggs Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. while supplies last. They have a total of 3,000 eggs to distribute to families with children between 3 and 12 years old.
You can pick up your eggs at a drive-through installation in front of the Shafter Rec Office at 700 E. Tulare Avenue.
The rules to join the Quarantine Egg Quest are simple: use the eggs to hunt at home, and be sure to tag Shafter Parks and Rec in your social media posts.
Due to the limited amount of eggs, you will only be given one dozen eggs per child. The maximum amount that will be given to each family is four dozen eggs.
