California State University Bakersfield holding high school baseball development league

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Need help fine-tuning your baseball skills? Well how about a chance to train with one of California's top baseball teams.

Cal State Bakersfield's baseball program is preparing to host a fall high school development league. It's a series of two-hour mini-camps where boys 9th through 12th grades can come and train.

According to the GoRunners website, "On Mondays, players will work on individual defense at their respective positions while also swings in with hitting groups. Wednesday nights will feature scrimmages and simulated games for campers to have their chance to shine under the bright lights of Hardt Field."

The camp starts Monday night and continues to run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., each Monday and Wednesday evening until October 9.
