Bakersfield Senior Center is offering free meals for those over 60-years-old

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Senior Center is offering free meals for seniors that are 60-years-old and older.

Seniors that meet the age requirement and would like to pay for their meal can contribute a $3 donation. For those who are 59-years-old or younger, can purchase a meal for $6.

Meals are available for pickup from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. For a list of the planned meals for the month of March, click here.

Bakersfield Senior Center is offering meals until April 14th.

If you would like to order a meal, you can contact the Bakersfield Senior Center at (661) 325-1113. The center also can deliver a meal for a senior in need by leaving a message on the office recorder at least 24 hours in advance.

The Bakersfield Senior Center is located at 530 4th St. in Central Bakersfield.
