BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — In this time of social distancing, the Bakersfield Police Department is hosting a special Easter Egg Hunt to celebrate the holiday.

Department officials posted the rules to their Facebook page on Monday.

You can download and decorate pictures of eggs and police badges, or you can draw your own.

Once you have your finished Easter artwork, make sure to tape it to a window facing the street.

Bakersfield Police officers will be on the lookout for your Easter art while on patrol.

When officers find your eggs, they will snap a photo and the department will share the artwork on social media.

Make sure you use the hashtag #BakersfieldPDEggHunt when posting your children's artwork on social media.
