BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A few months ago, we introduced you to a local high school senior, Requan Feltus, and his family battling homelessness.
Despite an outpouring of support from the community, they are still struggling to find housing during the pandemic.
23ABC’s Lezla Gooden explains why they are still trying to find a permanent home and speaks with the Bakersfield Homeless Center on what tools are available if you are too.
The family is looking for a two-bedroom home/apartment, with a $900 rent.
