BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The second Annual 23ABC Bakersfield Baby Shower is in full swing and this morning, we received a special donation courtesy of our very own Bakersfield Harley Davidson.
Ben Patton of BHD said as a grandfather, it was important to be able to help mothers and children in need in the community.
"My thought process was that some of these families are in need and they have a choice, especially at this time of year, do I buy Christmas presents or do I buy diapers?" Patton said. "Hopefully this will allow some people to spend some money and buy some Christmas presents for their kids."
23ABC and Hall Ambulance are collecting baby items and supplies for families in need. All donations benefit families in need at the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center and The Mission at Kern County.
