Bakersfield fire hosts 33rd Annual Christmas Eve program

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Fire Department wishes to bring you a merry Christmas this year by inviting the community out to celebrate on Christmas Eve.

It's the 33rd Annual Christmas Eve program, hosted by the BFD, this Tuesday.

In order to spread holiday cheer to children in need, BFD will be stopping by a number of places throughout the community to say 'Merry Christmas' to local girls and boys.

Their route includes Building Blocks, Alliance Against Family Violence, Jamison Center, Homeless Shelter and the local hospitals.

A pre-deployment will take place around 9 a.m. at Fire Station 1 on 2101 H Street. A Task Force will depart at 9:15 a.m.
