Bakersfield College to host 5th program in Virtual Distinguished Speaker Series Nov. 10

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield College Distinguished Speaker Series will host its fifth program of seven on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The series will include seven speakers, each will host their own program. The events will take place throughout the remainder of the year and early 2021.

The fifth speaker of the series, David French, will be speaking on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. via Zoom and live streaming on the Bakersfield Student Government Association Facebookpage.

Harvard Law School and a constitutional lawyer, French most recently worked as a senior writer for National Review and a senior fellow at the National Review Institute. He is a New York Times bestselling author, and his next book, Divided We Fall, will be released in 2020. David is a former major in the United States Army Reserve. In 2007 he deployed to Iraq with the Third Armored Cavalry Regiment and was awarded the Bronze Star.
