This weekend one local man will be delivering food to the Bakersfield Homeless Center for a good cause. On Saturday Larry Koman and volunteers will host the 2nd Annual Larry Koman BBQ.
Koman and his team will deliver tri-tip and hot dogs to people at the center. Some of the side dishes include salad and mac and cheese. Organizers expect to feed about 150 people.
The food will be served at noon at the Bakersfield Homeless Center at 1600 East Truxtun Avenue. The special luncheon is free for the clients at the center.
Plans are already in the works for the 3rd Annual Larry Koman Bakersfield Homeless Center BBQ.
