BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's Office blocked off the roadway in East Bakersfield Saturday afternoon.
Starting around 2:30 p.m. multiple sheriff's deputies surrounded a home on Fillmore Avenue near Morning Drive and Pioneer Drive.
Deputies blocked off Fillmore Ave. between Morning Drive and Royal Way.
Royal Way was also blocked off between Lexington Avenue and Pioneer Drive.
Around 3 p.m. 23ABC's cameras were filming as the SWAT team arrived.
Officials have not said what triggered the call out.
