BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — If you're looking to enjoy some great art while doing good for our furry friends, we have just the event for you!

The Art at the Sanctuary brings together over 70 artists on August 17th from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Sanctuary Tattoo in Bakersfield. The event benefits Marley's Mutts and their various programs, including Pawsitive Change.

Among the artists are Bo, Justin Richie, Edgar Arreola, Moe, Paul Henery, Evan Crocker, Arjay, Jennifer Frances and Chris Earl.

"We were very happy with the response from fellow artists here in town and their willingness to help a good cause and want to come together for the evening. It’s something that hasn’t happened probably ever and needs to," said artist Justin Richie on Instagram. "A ton of local artist and a few out of towners that just wanted a reason to paint and to just get together for a night of art and fun, Hope to see you all there!"

The event will be accepting donations and participants have the opportunity to purchase original art.

Sanctuary Tattoo Company is located at 3401 Pacheco Rd in Bakersfield.
