BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Local law enforcement officers helped a 10-year-old boy celebrate his birthday today.
Drew Ehret said he was sad to find out he couldn't have his friends over for a birthday pool party, so his mom put out a call on social media for people to drive by their home and help celebrate. But she didn't expect an entire motorcade of officers.
Local California Highway Patrol officers stopped by the home to wish Drew happy birthday.
The motorcade drove by with sirens blazing and horns honking.
Drew said he even though he couldn't have his friends over for the day, it was still "really cool."
