The Bakersfield Police Department will be releasing video of the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Jason Lee Alderman from August 23, 2015.
According to Bakersfield Police Sgt. Joe Grubbs, at about 11:20 p.m.. two officers were searching for another suspect for an unrelated crime in the area of Olive Drive and Roberts Lane.

That's when the officers noticed a man breaking into the Subway at 1215 Olive Drive.
The officers approached Alderman and that's when shots were fired by officers.
Alderman was taken to a local area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
