Following the recent death of a farm worker, the UFW gave out water bottles to farm workers in Kern County.
While the worker’s death hasn’t officially been ruled as heat-related, the UFW is reminding employers and workers of the dangers of triple digit heat.
The water bottles handed out had workers' rights printed on them along with California's updated rules in place to help prevent heat deaths and illnesses.
