This morning the San Joaquin Community Hospital is giving away free flu shots to adults ages 18 and older.
The free drive-thru clinic will be open until they run out of shots.
Where: San Joaquin Community Hospital (Corner of K St. & 28th St.)
When: 7:30 a.m. until TBD
Why: Flu shots are recommended for people 60 years of age or older as well as those who suffer from chronic illnesses such as lung, heart or kidney disease, asthma or diabetes.
Pediatric flu shots will not be available at this drive-thru clinic, but they are available through the SJCH Children's Mobile Immunization program. For a monthly schedule of the free children's immunizations clinics, go to: www.sjch.us
