UPDATE (5:57): There is now only one lane of northbound I-5 between Grapevine Road and Laval Road that is closed. 

The CHP says a trailer's tire caught fire this morning just before 1:45. The driver pulled over to put it out. After he put it out, it re-ignited. 

Kern County Fire crews say the truck was hauling Chick-fil-A, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell products. 

The driver was not hurt in the fire.

CHP is closing down two lanes on the Northbound I-5 due to a semi-truck fire.

According to CHP dispatch, the tire of the semi-truck caught fire between Laval and the Grapevine.
