A security guard is dead after a shooting at the Golden West Casino Friday evening.

KCSO has confirmed 31-year-old Keon Andre Brackenridge was acting weird outside of the casino. Security guards asked him for identification, then Brackenridge fired multiple rounds at the guards.

One guard was shot, 25-year-old Richard Iloilo. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A worker at a nearby market says after the shooting, Brackenridge entered his store and asked for a phone, saying he'd been shot. Authorities then arrested him at that store and took him to Kern Medical to treat his injuries.

Brackenridge has previous convictions including possession/purchase of narcotics and carrying a concealed weapon. He's currently being held on multiple charges including murder, assault with a firearm and participating in a street gang.

He is set to be in court Tuesday.
