RIDGECREST, Calif. — Bookworms, rejoice! The Ridgecrest Branch Library will be back open on Tuesday following last week's earthquake damages, according to officials.
In a tweet, Kern County's Chief Administrative Officer Ryan Alsop confirmed that the library will open for regular hours.

The library was a complete mess due to the latest earthquakes that rocked Ridgecrest. The building was closed until further notice so staff could clean up books that fell in the aisles.
