PG&E officials that thousands of customers were without power in parts of Kern County on Friday afternoon.
PG&E reported that 1162 customers were without power in NW Bakersfield.
The power was restored before 2:30 p.m.
PG&E said the cause of the outrage there was due to a down wire on Rosedale Hwy.

That power was fully restored after 3:10 p.m.
