PG&E: Power outages in NW Bakersfield, Oildale

PG&E officials that thousands of customers were without power in parts of Kern County on Friday afternoon.

PG&E  reported that 1162 customers were without power in NW Bakersfield.

The power was restored before 2:30 p.m. 

PG&E said the cause of the outrage there was due to a down wire on Rosedale Hwy.

Meanwhile, about 1058 customers are without power in the Oildale area. It's unknown at this time what is the cause of this outage.

That power was fully restored after 3:10 p.m.
