Monday evening family and friends protested for justice in the homicide of three-year-old Major Sutton, who was shot and killed in his home Friday night.

Three-year-old Major Sutton, his five-year-old brother King and their pregnant mother Johniece Williams were inside their central Bakersfield apartment on Friday night when police say someone forced their way inside. They fired several shots at the three, killing the toddler.

Monday evening Major's grandmother Iraina Holliday says she was at BPD putting pressure on them to provide answers about her grandson's murder.

"The family members, if they don't press the police I just believe in my heart that they will let this just die down. And I just want justice for my grand baby," said Iraina Holliday.

Major's mother Johneice Williams was at a candle light vigil Monday asking anyone with information to come forward.

"For whoever did it or for whoever knows who did it, come forward. Because my babies was in there on YouTube playing and dancing and he stood there and still decided to shoot. And they didn't have to go out like that," said Johniece Williams, the victim's mother.

If you have any information on this case, you are asked to call BPD at 327-7111.
