A man was found at the bottom of a southwest Bakersfield pool last week, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
KCSO says that 73-year-old Gopalakrishnaiah Bandapura Muni Reddy of Bakersfield was found unresponsive at the bottom of an in-ground pool.
He was taken to Mercy Hospital and was pronounced dead on July 13.
A physician determined the cause of death to be drowning, and said that it was accidental.
