Lamont double homicide suspect in court Wednesday, KCSO believes one suspect still outstanding

40-year-old Jim Langston will be in court on October 26 for his arraignment.

On October 19, KCSO's Gang Suppression Unit and Bakersfield Police Department's Special Enforcement Unit arrested 40-year-old Jim Langston.

He was booked for two counts of first-degree murder, accessory, conspiracy and participating in a street gang. He is being held without bail.

Langston will appear in court on Friday, October 21.

Detectives have located the tan suspect vehicle used in the robbery and homicide. They believe there is still one suspect outstanding.

KCSO arrested another suspect in connection with the case on Friday, October 14.
