Kern County Sheriff's Office deputies said a man was found dead in a general population cell at the Kern County Central Receiving Facility.

Sergio Landin Molina was found dead at about 4 a.m. on February 20, 2017.

Officials said that due to obvious signs of death, medical aid was not attempted. 

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause and manner of death.
